1/2" Brass Water Hose Spigot

Each of our 54 Gallon RainSaver Rain Barrels comes with one 1/2 inch Brass Water Hose Spigot for putting onto one of the two 1/2 inch ports molded into the rain barrel. If you would like an additional spigot for your RainSaver, or need a 1/2 inch NPT to 3/4 inch Hose Thread spigot for any other reason, then this is the part for you.

When installing your 1/2 inch Brass Water Hose Spigot, always use thread tape or paste to insure a water tight connection. If using thread tape, only wrap the threads 2 revolutions. Too much thread tape is not better and can provide unnecessary pressure on the container threads.
